There were only 4000-ever made, And I stumbled onto this Collectible around June 2019 in San Antonio Texas. It was an Early Thursday morning, The first day of a 3-Day Estate Sale at the home of a Retired Air Force Colonel. The Victrola was sitting in a partially shaded corner and my eyes went right too it. The Exterior was just plain Beautiful, I mean the design, the wood awesome. I can remember opening the top and Closing it right away so no one else around me could see what I seen. after peeping over my shoulders left then right and seeing I was all alone I reopened the unit. The unit was Gold Toned. I had too have It. Now Normally I buy items to Resale and too Preserve History. Knowing that there are so many Historical items that are Lost by The wayside. People think because something is old that it is Junk. Well Give me your Junk and Let me find out for Myself. After further research on this Beautiful Antique Music Box, I found out the serial number was 00943, within the 1000 ever made and it was a Special Order Victrola. This Victor Victrola was made before RCA bought into the Company. In 1922-This exact Unit Sold for $375.00. This unit is over 90-Years Old and Plays just like it came off the Show room Floor. My Son and Daughter-in-law Fell in Love with this peice of History. Of Course I was thinking of Flipping it, Putting it into the Hands of a Collector. Well it is still sitting in my Family room and My wife has given it a Home. I will be sharing the way I Look for and seek out Treasures that need to be reunited with Collectors.
